Barbara Gillespie is the owner of Cherry Tree Quilts Ltd in Summerland British Columbia. Barb has been involved in quilting for over 30 years and the quilting industry for the last 15 years. Before that she worked in the accounting industry in various positions, the last five years as the Finance Manager of a high-tech company in Ottawa. 

Cherry Tree Quilts evolved from a home-based long arm quilting business of 11 years into a full-fledged quilt shop in 2012. Barb enjoys bringing together her passion for fabric with the art of quilting to share it with others. She loves teaching and designing quilts and has had the privilege of designing for The Canadian Quilters Magazine and Better Homes and Gardens – Quilt Sampler.
