Why do we live here?  There are business reasons like the entrepreneurial spirit of the town, new developments, committed local government, a great employee pool and proximity to larger centres, airports and universities.

There are family reasons like the best schools, great parks, friendly neighbours, every type of sports program and amazing festivals throughout the year.

There are community reasons like dedicated service clubs, welcoming churches, a strong volunteer ethic and a variety of cultural options to participate in.

And who could forget health and lifestyle reasons like numerous well maintained hiking and biking trails, stunning beaches and access to the best produce and organic breads and meats all crafted within a few miles of home.

Then there are the reasons you can’t quantify: the way the lake never looks the same two days in a row, the beauty of Main Street when the banners are hung for the summer, waving to the town baker as he sweeps his sidewalk early on a fall morning, the crowds and adrenalin on Light-Up night, and baristas who always know how you want your latte.

You better come and see for yourself.  But be warned, after just a few days you’ll likely decide you want to live here too.
